The Cahaba Environmental Center (CEC) at Living River is an outdoor education organization devoted to hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Located on 440 acres at a deep bend of the Cahaba River, the CEC is home to a 1-5 day education program for students of all ages. The CEC also hosts teacher workshops, a field science school for colleges and universities, and a young women's backpacking and leadership program called Sole Sisters.
